Dawson Metcalf is a history and political science major from Broken Bow, Okla. He is the son of Jody and Tina Metcalf.
Metcalf has served as the President’s Leadership Council facilitator, Student Government Association Sustainability Committee liaison, ECO-OSU vice president, College of Arts & Sciences Ambassador Program director and Center for Ethical Leadership undergraduate assistant. He volunteered for Real Cowboys Recycle, Real Pokes Pass It On, Sierra Club, Relay for Life and was involved in hosting seminars on Muslim-Christian relations. Metcalf was named a Harry S. Truman Scholarship Finalist, OSU Servant Leader of the Year, Wentz Research Scholar, College of Arts & Sciences Outstanding Junior and an OSU Homecoming Royalty Finalist.
